The u-blox F9 receiver platform incorporated in the ZED-F9P positioning module brings advanced multi-band GNSS capabilities to industrial applications. This compact module ensures centimeter-level accuracy through its integration of u-blox multi-band RTK technology. With its small form factor, the ZED-F9P module is ideal for enabling precise navigation and automation in the movement of industrial machinery. Two module options are available: ZED-F9P, which supports L1/L2 bands, and ZED-F9P-15B, which supports L1/L5 bands. Designed for easy integration and cost-effectiveness, the ZED-F9P module offers a minimal e-BOM and is suitable for mass market adoption. It stands out with its small package size, light weight, and low power consumption. To ensure the security of positioning and navigation information, the ZED-F9P module implements secure interfaces and employs advanced jamming and spoofing detection technologies.
Supporting a variety of correction services, the ZED-F9P module allows applications to optimize performance according to their specific needs. It comes with built-in support for standard RTCM corrections, enabling centimeter-level navigation using local base stations or virtual reference stations (VRS) in a Network RTK setup. Additionally, the module can be upgraded to support future correction services, such as SSR-type corrections, which are suitable for broader market adoption.
