The u-blox F9 receiver platform incorporated in the ZED-F9P positioning module brings advanced multi-band GNSS capabilities to a wide range of industrial applications, all packed in a compact and efficient form factor. This module, equipped with u-blox multi-band RTK technology, ensures centimeter-level accuracy for precise navigation and automation of moving industrial machinery. It comes in two options: one with L1/L2 bands (ZED-F9P) and another with L1/L5 bands (ZED-F9P-15B), which performs better in complex environments like urban canyons. Integration of the ZED-F9P module is designed to be seamless and cost-effective, with minimum electronic bill of materials (e-BOM) requirements. Its small package size, lightweight design, and low power consumption make it highly suitable for widespread adoption in the mass market. The module prioritizes the security of positioning and navigation information by implementing secure interfaces and advanced technologies for detecting and countering jamming and spoofing threats.

With support for various correction services, the ZED-F9P module enables each application to optimize performance according to its specific requirements. It already includes built-in support for standard RTCM corrections, allowing for precise navigation based on centimeter-level information from local base stations or virtual reference stations (VRS) within a Network RTK setup. Furthermore, the module can be upgraded to support future correction services, such as SSR-type, to facilitate broader market penetration and enhanced performance.
