Description

ZED-F9P High Precision GNSS receiver EVAL module USB, I2C, UART, SPI with SMA antenna connectors. L1/L2 or L1/L5 options. Base or Rover operation. Multi-band receiver delivers centimeter-level accuracy in seconds.

The ZED-F9P positioning module features the new u-blox F9 receiver platform, which provides multi-band GNSS to high volume industrial applications in a compact form factor. ZED-F9P is a multi-band GNSS module with integrated u-blox multi-band RTK technology for centimeter-level accuracy. The module enables precise navigation and automation of moving industrial machinery by means of a small, surface mounted module.

Two module options offered - with L1/L2 bands (ZED-F9P) and with L1/L5 bands (ZED-F9P-15B). L1/L5 option will work better in urban canyon and similar complex environment. Read our blog article L2 or L5? for more details. Please note, using L5 band require special configuration

The ZED-F9P module is designed for easy integration and low design-in costs with minimal e-BOM. It is well-suited for mass market adoption, thanks to its small package size, light weight, and small power consumption. ZED-F9P ensures the security of positioning and navigation information by using secure interfaces and advanced jamming and spoofing detection technologies.

ZED-F9P offers support for a range of correction services allowing each application to optimize performance according to the application’s individual need. ZED-F9P comes with built-in support for standard RTCM corrections, supporting centimeter-level navigation from local base stations or from virtual reference stations (VRS) in a Network RTK setup. The module can be upgraded to support future SSR-type correction services suitable for mass market penetration.

Good morning,
I noticed there are several ZED-F9P modules available with different attachments, and I’m currently looking for a ZED-F9P GNSS unit for a ground-based/Backpack/Robot system (not for UAV or vehicle use). With so many options, I’m finding it challenging to identify the right model for my needs.
Could you please assist me in selecting the most suitable unit?

Hello, Team
I previously Ublox ZED-F9P RTK receiver along with and ANN-MB antenna to use as a proof-of-concept RTK base station. While it works well for PPK, I normally get RTK float only. One of the problems could be multipath signals (the antenna is mounted high up to get a full view of the sky), so a &quot;Choke Ring Antenna&quot; was suggested. Looking through your listings, I saw &quot;L1 L2 GPS, G1 G2 GLONASS B1 B2 B3 BDS Galileo E1 E5b 40dB Antenna FOR RTK Base station&quot; (ELT0123).
Is this adequate, or do you recommend any other products.
