Description

M20 All-constellation Multi-frequency High Precision RTK GNSS receiver.

M20 is Bynav new-generation proprietary high-precision RTK positioning module based on the Alice 22nm high performance automotive SoC, designed on the basis of ISO26262 ASIL B functional safety. The module supports GPS L1C/A/L1C/L2/L5, BDS B1l/B2l/B3l/B1C/B2a/B2b, GLONASS G1/G2, Galileo E1/E5a/E5b/E6, QZSS L1/L2/L5/L6(CLAS), NavIC L5, SBAS L1C/A and L-band. The built-in anti-interference and anti-deception technologies enhances RTK calculation on multiple modes and frequencies, which significantly improves RTK initialization time, measurement accuracy and reliability in complex environments such as satellite signal interference and loss. Relying on the excellent performance, M20 is well suited for autonomous driving, lane-level navigation, drones and robots.

We would like to proof-test this dongle, but we find it hard to understand its working - so hope you will be able to clarify.
Our scenario includes the dongle connected to an iOS device and used as an RTK rover, with correction data obtained from the Internet paid service. Is it possible to stream the NTRIP data, obtained by the iOS device directly from the NTP caster, to the dongle through the USB connection, simultaneously with the reception of position? Should be, but not clear from the documentation.
The same questions apply to the other dongles you produce, we might consider them too. Guess the answer would be the same.

Yes, you can. All modern receivers (Bynav M20/M21, Unicore UM980/UM982, Ublox F9P/F9R, Septentrio Mosaic X5/H/T) have separate protocol selection for reception and transmission. Moreover, it is possible to receive and transmit via several protocols simultaneously.
There is a link in the description above where you can download "Bynav Interface Protocol". The required command is described in "3.1.11 INTERFACEMODE". It will be "INTERFACEMODE COM1 AUTO AUTO" (set by default). Then order the required NMEA packets for transmission.

Used this as my first GNSS RTK, used with a patch antenna first with poor receptions and signal quality issues, change to a magnetic multiband receiver resulted in more and better receptions and more signals and more satellites &amp;amp;amp;quot;visible&amp;amp;amp;quot; in Onocoy &amp;amp;amp;quot;live view&amp;amp;amp;quot;, IF you are doing &amp;amp;amp;quot;mining&amp;amp;amp;quot;; i can recommend a better receiver like UM980, this does receive more RTCM and should do better performance =&amp;amp;amp;gt; more tokens reward. This M20 was easy install in a RPI, and https://github.com/GNSSOEM/ELT_RTKBase install script it was relative easy install and setup, If you are planning to go for as NTRIP server it is easy also to use and setup. &amp;amp;amp;quot;
If you want a fair cheap receiver this works, but if you want to &amp;amp;amp;quot;hear&amp;amp;amp;quot; all RTCM this is not the one. Put a few more $ and go for Unicore receiver
