L1/L2 Dual-Band GNSS Antennas – RTK Precision for Surveying, UAV and Machine Control

L1/L2 dual-band antennas are the standard choice for professional RTK workflows. By receiving two frequencies simultaneously, they resolve ionospheric errors and achieve centimeter-level positioning with fast fix times — making them the go-to option for surveying, UAV mapping, precision agriculture, and machine control. All antennas in this category support GPS L1/L2, GLONASS G1/G2, Galileo E1/E5b, and BeiDou B1I/B2I, and are compatible with dual-band receivers including u-blox ZED-F9P, Septentrio mosaic-X5, and Unicore UM980.

L1/L2 Dual-Band GNSS Antennas: Centimeter RTK Accuracy for Professional Applications

L1/L2 dual-band antennas receive two simultaneous GNSS frequencies, which allows the receiver to resolve ionospheric delay errors and achieve reliable centimeter-level RTK positioning with fast convergence times. Compared to single-band L1, a dual-frequency setup dramatically reduces ambiguity resolution time and extends the usable RTK baseline from a few kilometres to 30–50 km with a good correction source.

ELTEHS L1/L2b antennas cover GPS L1/L2, GLONASS G1/G2, Galileo E1/E5b, and BeiDou B1I/B2I — giving full multi-constellation dual-band coverage with a single antenna element. Available in patch and quad helix form factors, with LNA gain from 33 dB to 35 dB, and IP67-rated enclosures for outdoor and field deployment.

Dual-Band Performance for RTK and GNSS Systems

Thanks to multi-constellation and dual-frequency support, L1/L2B RTK antennas provide faster signal acquisition, stronger satellite tracking, and improved phase center stability. They reduce multipath errors and enhance accuracy, even in urban or obstructed environments.

Compact, Rugged, and Field-Ready Design

Built with durable materials and rated IP67, these antennas are resistant to dust, water, and vibration — ideal for drones, portable base stations, and outdoor fieldwork. Their compact, lightweight form factor makes integration simple for mobile and fixed setups.

Compatible Receivers

These antennas are fully compatible with dual-band GNSS receivers including u-blox ZED-F9P, Septentrio mosaic-X5, Unicore UM980, and Bynav C1-S. If you are building an RTK rover or base station around the F9P, any antenna in this category will deliver the signal quality the module requires.

When to Choose L1/L2 Over L1 or All-Band

L1/L2 is the standard choice for professional RTK surveying, precision agriculture, UAV mapping, and machine control where centimeter accuracy is required but a full All-Band antenna is not justified by the application or budget. If you need support for L5 frequencies or operate with next-generation receivers like Septentrio mosaic-X5 or Unicore UM982, consider our L1/L2/L5 or All-Band antennas instead.
