  A logger is a small box that contains the ZED-F9P receiver. At the top, it has an SMA connector for attaching the antenna. At the bottom, there is a 1/4 inch nut, similar to those on cameras, to use household tripods. The logger is attached to a geodetic rod with a 5/8 inch screw using an adapter (included in the kit).
