Hello gnss.store
I have a question about the NEO-M8T InCase PIN series TIME & RAW receiver board. Why is there at “+5V” pin when you use a LDO to power the NEO-M8T at 3.3V? What else on this board uses 5V? Was this board designed to be powered by another board that only has a 5V supply?
Are you able to provide me a quick schematic of this board?

Hi Vasko,
All our boards intended to be powered from external 5V power source. GNSS module require very stable power supply, so it can not be powered directly from 3.3V power rail.
LDO is used to stabilize the 3.3V for the module. You can disconnect LDO and try to power NEO-M8T directly from you 3.3V power source (as we understand, you have only 3.3V on your 12pin header). However, you will probably did not get expected GNSS performance.
